Playing Information

Players must wear football boots, football socks and shin pads for all football-related activity within the Academy. It is recommended that players wear their Academy Kit to training sessions, however other comfortable sports clothing is permitted.

No food or drink is provided by the Academy. It is parent’s responsibility to make sure their child has enough water and snacks if needed by the child during the session. Regular breaks for water and snacks are provided by the Academy coaches. It is recommended that all water bottles, lunch boxes and items of clothing have the children’s name on them.

Purchase and Delivery of Academy Merchandise

All players must purchase an Academy Kit when joining an Academy Team for use in matches. Players in Academy Training are encouraged to purchase an Academy Kit for their training sessions.

Academy Merchandise, including Academy Kits, take 3-4 week to arrive after purchase. Spare Academy kits will be provided by the Academy while Academy Kits arrive. All Academy Merchandise will be given out by Koach Kelton at training sessions or game days once arrived.

Cancelled Sessions

Academy Training may be cancelled if the council closes a field due to wet weather or if all available coaching staff are sick or urgently unavailable for a session. Parents will be notified of this cancellation via WhatsApp message.

Updates

All updates are provided via WhatsApp. All parents will be added into relevant WhatsApp groups where notifications of game times, session cancellations and other relevant updates will be provided. These group chats are also welcome to be used by parents to cohere car-pooling or discuss other relevant information that effects multiple players in the team.

Credits

Credits for missed training sessions apply if a player misses 2 or more full sessions during the term due to explained illness, injury or coaching / field unavailability. For credits to be valid for an illness or injury, parents need to provide 24 hours’ notice of their child’s absence to Koach Kelton via WhatsApp. It is parent’s responsibility to let the Academy know of any redeemable credits when a future term commences. A discount code will then be given to the parents that they can apply at the next point of purchase on the website.

Photography

Koach Kelton Academy coaches or hired photographers may take photographs or videos of training sessions, events or matches for promotional purposes only.
